1. Fr. Barrett Memorial Scholarship / Grant for Undergraduate Studies

For studying aboard or locally, renewable annually depending on the length of the proposed course of study.

Scholarship: $100,000 one-off payment for maximum 2 for each graduating cohort

Grant:   up to HK$200,000 (abroad) or HK$80,000 (local) per year

Must return to work in HK or other areas in China, or obtain employment with an entity or organisation in HK for a minimum of 36 consecutive months immediately on completion of their study programme.

~  at least 3 years of continued education in Wah Yan College.

~  permanent residents of HK

~  For applicants taking the HKAL Examination :

-  Scholarship:

a minimum of 5 distinctions or 5* in   the HKCEE and Level 5 or above in English  and Chinese.

-  Grant:

level 4 or above in English and Chinese in the HKCEE and minimum of 18 points in the best 6 subjects in the HKCEE.

~  For applicants taking the HKDSE Examination :

-  Scholarship :

applicants for the scholarship should achieve Level 5 or above in at least four subjects including English and Chinese (an extension module of Mathematics being counted as a separate elective subject, same below), with achievement in Mathematics and Liberal Studies at Level 3 or above.

-  Grant :

applicants for the grant should have a minimum of 15 points in his best five subjects (L2:1 pt, L3:2 pts, L4:3 pts, L5:4 pts, L5* or above:5 pts), including English and Chinese, with achievement in Mathematics and Liberal Studies both at Level 2 or above.

2. Fr. Deignan Scholarship for Undergraduate Studies in USA

For studying in a two-year junior college in the San Francisco area with full tuition fees or up to US$ 8,000 per year for 2 years in a 4-year university any where in the USA.

Applicants must be accepted by a junior college in the San Francisco area, or a university any where in the United States.

~  F.6 or F.7 current students who have attended Wah Yan College at least from F.3 through F.5.

3. Fr. Deignan Scholarship for Undergraduate Studies

For studying aboard or locally, renewable annually, maximum 4 years, up to HK$ 30,000 per year

Must return to work in HK or other areas in China, or obtain employment with an entity or organisation in HK for a minimum of 36 consecutive months immediately on completion of their study programme.

~  at least 3 years of continued education in Wah Yan College, HK.

~  permanent residents of HK

~  in genuine need of financial assistance.

4. Fr. Daly Memorial Scholarship for Undergraduate Studies.

5. WYCA (Eastern US) Inc. Scholarship

For studying in a university in the United States, maximum 4 years, US$ 2,000 a year.

Applicants must be enrolled by a university in the United States.

~  F.6 or F.7 current students who have attended Wah Yan College at least from F.3 though F.5.

6. Charles King Lee Memorial Scholarship for Undergraduate Studies

For studying locally, renewable annually, maximum 4 years, HK$10,000 per year.

Must work in HK or other areas in China, or obtain employment with an entity or organisation in HK for a minimum of 36 consecutive months immediately on completion of their study programme.

~  at least 3 years of continued education in Wah Yan College, HK.

~ permanent residents of HK

~  in genuine need of financial assistance.
