1. Fr. Barrett Memorial Scholarship / Grant for Undergraduate Studies

For studying aboard or locally, renewable annually depending on the length of the proposed course of study and in the light of academic progress and other performance deserved satisfactory by the trustees. 

Scholarship: $100,000 one-off payment for maximum 2 for each graduating cohort

Grant: up to HK$200,000 (abroad) or HK$80,000 (local) per year 

Must return to work in HK or other areas in China, or obtain employment with an entity or organisation in HK for a minimum of 36 consecutive months immediately on completion of their study programme.

~  Scholarship :
    applicants for the scholarship should
- Achieve a minimum of 32 points in the best 5 subjects (L1:1 pt, L2:2 pt, L3:3 pts, L4:4 pts, L5:5 pts, L5*:6 pts, L5**:7 pts), an extension module of Mathematics being counted as a separate elective subject,
- Achieve a minimum of Level 5 in English and Chinese,
- Achieve a minimum of Level 3 in Mathematics and Liberal Studies.

  • Grant :

    applicants for the grant should have a minimum of 22 points in his best five subjects (L1:1 pt, L2:2 pts, L3:3 pts, L4:4 pts, L5:5 pts, L5*:6 pts, L5**:7 pts), with achievement in English and Chinese at Level 3 or above and with achievement in Mathematics and Liberal Studies at Level 2 or above.

2. Fr. Stephen Chow Scholarship for Post-secondary Education For studying sub-degree (including Associate Degrees and Higher Diplomas), renewable annually, maximum 2 years.  Either $10,000 or $20,000 per year. Must return to work in HK or other areas in China, or obtain employment with an entity or organisation in HK for a minimum of 36 consecutive months immediately on completion of their study programme. ~ at least 3 years of continued education in Wah Yan College, HK.
~ permanent residents of HK
~ in genuine need of financial assistance.

3. Fr. Daly Memorial Scholarship for Undergraduate Studies. For studying aboard or locally, renewable annually, maximum 4 years. The amount is based upon the applicant’s family financial situation. Must return to work in HK or other areas in China, or obtain employment with an entity or organisation in HK for a minimum of 36 consecutive months immediately on completion of their study programme. ~ at least 3 years of continued education in Wah Yan College, HK.
~ permanent residents of HK
~ in genuine need of financial assistance.

4. Fr. Reid Memorial Scholarship for Post-secondary Education For studying sub-degree (including Associate Degrees and Higher Diplomas) or degrees, renewable annually, maximum 2 years for sub-degree and 4 maximum 4 years for degrees. Either $10,000 or $20,000 per year.

Must return to work in HK or other areas in China, or obtain employment with an entity or organisation in HK for a minimum of 36 consecutive months immediately on completion of their study programme.

~ at least 3 years of continued education in Wah Yan College, HK.
~ permanent residents of HK
~ in genuine need of financial assistance. .
