Fr. Barrett Memorial Scholarship / Grant for Undergraduate Studies
Nature, duration and value
For studying abroad or locally, renewable annually depending on the length of the proposed course of study and in the light of academic progress and other performance deserved satisfactory by the trustees.
Scholarship: $80,000 one-off payment (maximum 2 Wahyanites for each graduating cohort)
Grant: up to HK$100,000 (abroad) or HK$60,000 (local) per year
Conditions
Must return to work in HK or other areas in China, or obtain employment with an entity or organisation in HK for a minimum of 36 consecutive months immediately upon completion of their study programme.
Eligibility
- at least 3 years of continued education in Wah Yan College.
- permanent residents of HK
Applicants for Scholarship should:
- Achieve a minimum of 32 points in the best 5 subjects (L1:1 pt, L2:2 pt, L3:3 pts, L4:4 pts, L5:5 pts, L5*:6 pts, L5**:7 pts), an extension module of Mathematics being counted as a separate elective subject,
- Achieve a minimum of Level 5 in English and Chinese,
- Achieve a minimum of Level 3 in Mathematics and Attained in Citizenship and Social Development.
Applicants for Grant should:
- Achieve a minimum of 22 points in his best five subjects (L1:1 pt, L2:2 pts, L3:3 pts, L4:4 pts, L5:5 pts, L5*:6 pts, L5**:7 pts),
- Achieve a minimum of Level 3 in English and Chinese
- Achieve a minimum of Level 2 in Mathematics and Attained in Citizenship and Social Development

Fr. Daly Memorial Scholarship for Undergraduate Studies
Nature, duration and value
For studying abroad or locally, renewable annually with a maximum of 4 years.
The amount is based upon the applicant’s family financial situation.
Conditions
Must return to work in HK or other areas in China, or obtain employment with an entity or organisation in HK for a minimum of 36 consecutive months immediately upon completion of their study programme.
Eligibility
- at least 3 years of continued education in Wah Yan College, HK.
- permanent residents of HK
- in genuine need of financial assistance.

John Lo Education Scholarship
The John Lo Education Scholarship, established by the Lo’s Family Charity Fund Limited, aims to support underprivileged students at Wah Yan College, Hong Kong, and promote educational equity. This scholarship provides financial assistance to deserving students who demonstrate academic commitment and a genuine financial need.
