Wah Yan College, Hong Kong is currently seeking applications for the following part-time positions for the academic year 2024-25:


1. Executive Assistant to the Supervisor (Part-time)

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Supervisor of WYHK and provide support to the Supervisor
  • Assist the Supervisor in planning, coordinating Jesuit Education Board projects
  • Provide research assistance on Jesuit education and ancillary issues.
  • Document and presentation preparation.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders to ensure clear communication and address any issues or concerns
  • Handle any ad hoc duties assigned as and when required.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings related to the projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Holder of a bachelor’s degree or above from a well-recognized university.
  • At least 5 years’ relevant previous work experience.
  • Experience in education areas or project management is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Catholic faith, Jesuit education, or Ignatian spirituality is an advantage
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills, highly motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities, and excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English; proficiency in Cantonese and Putonghua.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office, Adobe, and Chinese word processing.
  • Mature, good work attitude, self-motivated, good team player, good communication skills.
2. School Administration Director (Part-time)

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Principal of WYHK and provide support to the school administration.
  • Assist the Principal in consolidating and strengthening the school’s administration system.
  • Collaborate with the administration office and the vice principals on administrative tasks.
  • Document administration procedures and conduct training for relevant staff.
  • Handle any ad hoc duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Holder of a bachelor’s degree or above from a well-recognized university.
  • Solid experience in school administration, preferably with prior experience as a Vice Principal.
  • Knowledge of the Catholic faith, Jesuit education, or Ignatian spirituality is an advantage
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills, highly motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities, and excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English; proficiency in Cantonese and Putonghua.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office, Adobe, and Chinese word processing.
  • Mature, good work attitude, self-motivated, good team player, good communication skills.
